Happy New Year.. a tad late

Wow, I actually forgot I had this, until my Best Friend Joy informed me of her blog for her son Isaiah. So I thought I'd better write something.

Well, it has been an interesting 2009 even though we are only 22 days in.

Matt and I are doing more and more with the wedding that is quickly approaching, under 8 months to go, and the months seem to just go by as soon as they get here. We have been researching our honeymoon, trying to get as much info as possible. We have decided to go to Disney World/Universal... I have not been since I was 5 or 6 and Matt hasn't been since he was a teenager, so we are excited. I'm a bit overwhelmed because there is so much down there.

The only big things we have left to do with our wedding is the invitations, cake and the bridesmaids dresses. We were so thankful to get alot of the big stuff out of the way early.

Nursing School.... well this is my 2nd semester and I am taking Anatomy and Physiology II, Algebra and Composition which I don't like!! I really enjoy school though, the semesters seem to fly by. Already had a test in A&P on wednesday.. I got a 100, so I was thrilled with that.

I really don't know much else that is going on: please pray for:

Joy, Chris, Josiah and Isaiah: that they ALL will be comforted and that they are able to spend some time with their new son Isaiah.

Marc and Julie ( that Marc can find a job quickly and that all of their needs will be met)

Heather and Matt: that we continue to grow spiritually together

Here we go...

So here I go with something new to keep track off and update... What did we do before computers to find out what is going on in our loved ones lives?

Well this year.. I know its more than half over, but I turned 30 a few weeks ago, so it marks a new stage in life, well numerically anyways! No really it is going to be a huge year for me. I graduated from Massage Therapy school, I am enrolled in nursing school full-time, and I quit my job I have had for the last 10 years, I am starting my new job tomorrow as a massage therapist, and the most exciting big change yet is I am marrying the man of my dreams next September!!

Some say I am nuts to take on all of it at one time, but I see it as an opportunity to learn more about myself, challenge myself and just a time of excitement!! I am not sure where these new roads are going to lead me, but I am just thrilled! Matt, my fiance' is so supportive of all of the changes and has been terrific through the whole process... even the wedding planning!!! He is just as excited as me with all of the planning!

Well I think this is a good start to my first official blog...
